Funcions of pier-gallery divided depending on time of day. During daytime it works like a normal dock. At night — a gallery of multimedia art. Walls arranged the way that when they look at the front facade jetty disappears, but when looking the side it shows the load-bearing walls. And this transition from one type to another allows the dock to be a ghost in the traffic on the Moskva-river. Ample load-bearing walls are at the same time elements ,supporting a roof, and screen for nighttime installations. Dual-use, we think, will enable the pier gallery fully use all its functions. And also easy to integrate into the urban fabric in the form of jetties, galleries and ghost.
The basis of space-planning solutions dock gallery is the construction of the bearing elements converging rays at the point of focus. Conditional focal point is located on the embankment of a river. So for the viewer is on the shore, bearing becomes invisible, creating a phantom pier.
Support and technical areas are located in the hold.
