The Bayan house

The house is located on the bank of Klyazminskoe Reservior alongside other houses near the pier. Various life cycles of the house depend on seasons. In summer time the diaphragm is expanded, which allows the residents to use extra space and to be protected from rough weather. At colder times the walls are moved closer to the center of the structure, wich makes the heat dissipation area smaller. The are designed to be moved along rails with the help of an electrical drive. A honeycomb hollow glass covering acts as external coating of the building. Such structural scheme is meant to bring the residential space closer to nature.
